Banana Cake
What you will need to make banana cake:

  • 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1.5 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sweetener of your choice
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2.5 cups mashed banana
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup soymilk


  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Step 2
    Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.

    Step 3
    Beat sweetener and oil together in a large bowl, then add mashed banana. Add soymilk and vanilla; mix thoroughly.

    Step 4
    Add the flour mixture then stir to mix.

    Step 5
    Pour in nonstick or lightly oiled pan, 8 or 9 inches square. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
