Oatmeal Breakfast Cake
What you will need to make an Oatmeal Breakfast Cake:

  • 1 Cup oat flakes
  • 2.5 Cups of water
  • 1/2 Cup canola oil
  • 1/4 Cup soy milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon of sugar
  • 2.25 Tablespoons of corn starch
  • 1.25 Cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 Tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 Tablespoons of cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tablespoons of salt
  • 1/4 Cup raisins


  • Step 1
    Cook oats in water until soft.

    Step 2
    Add canola oil, soy milk, vanilla extract and beat until smooth.

    Step 3
    Combine all remaining ingredients except honey and stir into batter.

    Step 4
    Divide into two oiled loaf pans. Cook for 55-60 minutes at 350 degrees.

    Step 5
    When slightly cooled but not cold, pour honey over bread and allow to soak in.
